Hours: Monday to Wednesday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

Age Group: 14-16 years

Start Date: June 2026

Salary: MPS-UPS (dependent on experience)

NextGen Teachers are looking for a creative, passionate and dedicated Part-Time Art Teacher to join an incredible school. The successful candidate will be confident delivering GCSE Art across Key Stage 4 within a specialist SEMH setting. You will have experience supporting pupils with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs, and be skilled at creating an engaging, supportive and structured learning environment that enables students to access the curriculum and develop their creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging GCSE Art lessons across KS4, adapted to meet the needs of learners with SEMH needs
• Create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour and emotional regulation
• Ensure all pupils can access and progress within the curriculum
• Assess, monitor and report on pupil progress in line with GCSE requirements and school assessment systems
• Work collaboratively with staff and support services to support pupil wellbeing, engagement and personal development

What we're looking for:

• A Qualified Art Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience delivering GCSE art lessons
• A strong understanding of SEMH needs and inclusive education
