Location: Redhill, Surrey
Salary: Competitive Salary dependant on Experience
Contract: 12-Weeks Temp to Perm, term Time Only

We are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team within a specialist education setting. The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and wider support staff to provide personalised support tailored to individual pupil needs. You will help create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment where pupils feel safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Assist pupils with a range of SEND and additional learning needs
- Support learning activities and help pupils engage positively in lessons
- Encourage confidence, independence, and social development
- Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour strategies
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils while maintaining professional boundaries
- Adapt support strategies to meet individual learning styles and needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment

- Has experience working with children or young people with SEND or additional needs
