We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary SEND Teacher to join a specialist educational setting in OX17. This is a rewarding opportunity for a qualified teacher who is committed to helping pupils with additional needs thrive both academically and personally.

Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils, helping them build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver creative, high-quality lessons tailored to individual learning needs
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and personal development
  • Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for pupils
  • Contribute to the wider school community and ethos

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within a Primary and/or SEND setting
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A patient, adaptable, and positive approach to teaching
  • Passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
