Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for a rewarding role supporting pupils with additional needs?

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist setting in Leeds seeking a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to support pupils with Complex Needs, Communication and Interaction difficulties, and a range of Special Educational Needs.

The Role

• Support pupils with complex needs across the curriculum
• Deliver small-group and 1:1 support tailored to individual learning needs
• Supervise whole classes during short-term teacher absence
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
• Assist with individual education plans, personal care, and wellbeing support where required
• Work closely with teachers and wider professionals to support pupil progress
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

About You

• Experience working with children or young people with Complex Needs and SEND
• Knowledge of Communication and Interaction difficulties
• Experience supporting learning in an educational setting
• Confident managing groups of pupils and maintaining positive behaviour
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, resilient, and committed to helping pupils succeed
