NextGen Teachers are working alongside an independent specialist SEMH provision in the East Midlands that supports children and young people living with their families, foster placements, or in residential care settings. The provision is currently seeking a Maths Teacher (up to GCSE level) to cover a maternity contract, starting as soon as possible due to an unexpected staff absence.

The setting offers small class groups, typically no more than six learners, with strong classroom support including Teaching Assistants and additional 1:1 staff.

Pupils attending the school have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and may present with a range of additional needs such as Autism Spectrum Condition, ADHD, Foetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Difficulties, attachment-related needs, and mild to moderate learning challenges.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher with experience in SEMH education and a subject specialism in Maths to GCSE level, available to begin immediately.
