Location: Leeds
Contract: Flexible Day-to-Day, Short-Term & Long-Term Supply
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (Term-Time Only)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £140-£220 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role

NextGen Teachers is recruiting confident and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive schools in Leeds.

This role is ideal for qualified teachers who enjoy variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to experience different school settings. Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply, short-term cover, or longer-term placements, we can match opportunities to suit your availability and preferences.

You'll deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning while quickly building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across primary phases

• Follow school planning or provide prepared lessons where required

• Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment

• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners

• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and school leaders

• Uphold safeguarding and professional standards at all times

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

• Experience teaching within primary settings (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Confident, flexible, and able to adapt quickly

• Sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
