• Location: Croydon
• Pay: £90-£105 per day (dependent on experience)
• Hours: Monday to Friday (term time only)
• Contract: Long-term, ongoing
• Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Looking for a rewarding role supporting a child on a 1:1 basis?

We are looking for an Autism Support Worker to join a specialist school setting in Croydon. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in education, care, or support work who are passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.

The Role

As an Autism Support Worker, you will provide 1:1 support to a pupil, helping them access learning and develop confidence in a structured and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 support tailored to individual needs
• Supporting learning and day-to-day activities
• Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation
• Adapting activities to support engagement
• Building a positive and consistent relationship

The Ideal Candidate

We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds.

You will be:

• Experienced in a support-based role such as Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or similar
• Interested in supporting children or young people with Autism or additional needs
• Calm, patient, and reliable
• Able to work well as part of a team
• In possession of an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
