Location: Croydon (Mainstream Secondary School)
Pay: £95-£105 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday (term time only)
Contract: Long-term, ongoing
Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

We are working with a welcoming mainstream secondary school in Croydon to recruit a Learning Support Assistant. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in education, care, or support work who are keen to help students reach their full potential.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside teaching staff to support students both in the classroom and through small group or 1:1 interventions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting students during lessons across a range of subjects
• Working 1:1 or with small groups to reinforce learning
• Assisting students with additional needs, including SEN and SEND
• Helping to manage behaviour and maintain engagement
• Encouraging confidence, independence, and progress

The Ideal Candidate

We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds.

You will be:

• Experienced in a support role such as Teaching Assistant, LSA, or Support Worker
• Interested in working with secondary-aged students
• Patient, adaptable, and proactive
• A strong communicator who works well within a team
• In possession of an Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
