We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Business Studies to join a high-performing and supportive department. You will teach Business at GCSE and potentially Business and/or Economics at A Level, contributing to a subject area known for strong outcomes and high student uptake.
The school's Business and Economics team is experienced, collaborative, and passionate about delivering engaging, challenging lessons. With excellent ICT facilities, modern classrooms, and a culture of sharing best practice, this is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, using data to inform teaching
- Set high expectations for achievement, behaviour, and conduct
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental resources
- Support students' academic and personal development, including as a form tutor
- Participate in extracurricular activities and wider school life
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
- Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A degree in a relevant subject and a recognised teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach KS4-KS5 (KS3 desirable)
- A proven ability (or clear potential) to inspire and motivate students
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Confidence in using ICT to enhance teaching and learning
- A commitment to high standards and continuous improvement
- Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for Business and/or Economics
- A willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and school life
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
