- Pay: £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
- Hours: 08:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
- Contract: Ongoing / Long-Term

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or Support Worker looking for a rewarding role in a primary school setting?
We are recruiting a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Redhill. This role focuses on supporting small groups of pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning and build confidence in the classroom.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils who require additional help, particularly in small group settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting small groups of pupils with SEN, including Autism (ASD) and learning difficulties
- Delivering targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Helping pupils stay engaged and on task during lessons
- Supporting social development, confidence, and communication skills
- Working collaboratively with teachers to adapt learning activities
The Ideal Candidate
- Experienced as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or Support Worker
- Confident working with children with SEN, SEND, or additional needs
- Patient, proactive, and nurturing in your approach
- Able to support small groups and adapt to different learning needs
- A strong communicator and team player
