Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Start Date: April 2026

About the Role
NextGen Teachers is recruiting passionate and committed Primary Teachers to join welcoming and supportive primary schools across Leeds for April starts.
This role is ideal for qualified teachers looking to secure a consistent teaching position within a nurturing school environment. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, and we will match roles to your strengths, experience, and career goals.
You will be responsible for full classroom teaching duties, delivering high-quality lessons, assessing progress, and contributing positively to the wider school community.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assess, monitor and track pupil progress
- Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
- Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders
- Contribute to planning, meetings, and wider school activities
- Uphold safeguarding and professional standards at all times
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Recent experience teaching within a primary setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
- Sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
