If you're driven to empower young learners, spark confidence, and nurture independence, this is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team that transforms lives every day.

About the School

You'll be joining a caring, inclusive setting that supports children with a broad range of needs - including autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, communication differences, and social, emotional, or learning challenges.

The school offers creative and holistic learning experiences, from structured lessons and play-based activities to sensory exploration and life-skills development. Every child is met at their developmental stage, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and ready to thrive.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Championing pupils with diverse SEN needs, supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth

  • Delivering engaging, accessible, and tailored learning activities

  • Working as part of a nurturing, highly collaborative team with an excellent staff-to-pupil ratio

  • Using varied communication strategies and positive behaviour approaches suited to young learners

  • Providing consistent, compassionate support to ensure each child's wellbeing and sense of security

  • Assisting with learning, transitions, play activities, and personal care (where required)

  • Encouraging independence, social interaction, and emotional regulation

  • Taking part in trips and enrichment activities that broaden pupils' experiences

What We're Looking For

  • Experience supporting children with complex SEN

  • Patience, empathy, and skilled positive behaviour management

  • A genuine passion for helping young children reach their full potential

  • Commitment to safeguarding and accurate record-keeping

  • Team Teach trained (or happy to complete the training)

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Minimum Grade C/4 in GCSE English, Maths, and Science
