About the Role
NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Primary Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers seeking flexible work while making a positive impact in local schools.

Supply teaching offers the chance to work in a variety of school environments, covering planned absences, sickness, and short-term staffing needs across Early Years, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the primary national curriculum
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Follow school behaviour policies and ensure a safe learning space for pupils
• Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and age groups
• Provide feedback to school staff regarding pupil progress and behaviour where required

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexibility and confidence working in different schools
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
• The right to work in the UK
• The ability to provide 24 months of professional references
