Location: Bradford & surrounding areas
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent or Long-Term (Term-Time Only)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Start Date: April 2026 (with September options available)
Pay: Paid to scale

About the Role

As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for full classroom teaching duties, delivering high-quality lessons, assessing pupil progress, and contributing positively to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners

  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders

  • Contribute to planning, meetings, and wider school initiatives

  • Uphold safeguarding and professional standards at all times

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Recent experience teaching within a secondary setting

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

  • Sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
