Primary Teaching Assistant (1:1 Support) - Croydon

£90-£105 per day | Full-Time | Immediate Start

Looking for a rewarding role supporting a child on a 1:1 basis?

We are recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a friendly mainstream primary school in Croydon. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in education, care, or support work who are passionate about helping children succeed.

What you'll do:

• Provide 1:1 support tailored to a pupil's needs
• Support learning across the primary curriculum
• Assist with behaviour and emotional regulation
• Adapt activities to support engagement
• Build a positive, trusting relationship

What we're looking for:

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant, LSA, or Support Worker
• Interest or experience in SEN, SEND, or additional needs
• Calm, patient, and nurturing approach
• Reliable and team-focused
• Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)

Job details:

• Location: Croydon (Primary School)
• Pay: £90-£105 per day
• Contract: Long-term, ongoing
• Hours: Monday to Friday (term time only)
• Start: ASAP
