NextGen Teachers are recruiting a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a fantastic SEN school based in Leeds, from September 2026. This is a full-time / permanent opportunity to work with pupils with a range of special educational needs in a supportive and well-resourced environment.

This role would suit an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into specialist education.

This school caters for children aged 4-16 years with a variety of needs Including: ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLD, SLCN, GDD and Complex needs. The classes are grouped into three pathways ranging from Informal - Formal learning and with this being a newly built school, this is built for purpose in it's resources for pupils and staff.

The Role:
* Teach pupils with a range of special educational needs
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
* Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development
* Work closely with support staff and multidisciplinary teams
* Contribute to EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
* Create a positive, inclusive and structured learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with SEN pupils (desirable)
* Strong differentiation and behaviour management skills
* Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
* Passion for inclusive education
* Ability to work collaboratively with staff and families
