We are hiring a Trainee SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in East Grinstead. This role is ideal for candidates from care, support work, or graduate backgrounds who want to gain experience supporting children with additional needs.

You will support students with Autism (ASD), PMLD, SLD, and complex needs in a structured, supportive environment.

What you'll do:

• Support students 1:1 and in small groups
• Assist with learning, behaviour, and communication
• Help students develop confidence and independence
• Provide personal care where needed

What we're looking for:

• Interest in SEN, SEND, or Autism support
• Experience in care, support work, or working with young people (preferred)
• Patient, reliable, and team-focused
• Willingness to learn - training provided
• Driving licence required

• Salary: £24,303
• Hours: Monday to Friday, term time only
