NextGen Teachers is working with a welcoming primary school in Crawley to find a dedicated Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils during a key stage of their development while working as part of a collaborative and nurturing Key Stage 1 team.

The Role

As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will support the class teacher and help pupils develop confidence and independence in their learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 2 classroom
• Working with small groups and individual pupils
• Supporting literacy, numeracy and classroom activities
• Helping pupils stay engaged and confident in their learning
• Supporting the class teacher with classroom organisation and preparation
• Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment
