Contract: Full-time | Permanent | Term-Time Only
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Age Range: 5-13 Years
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £92-£95 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role this September? We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join a welcoming specialist setting, supporting pupils aged 5-13 with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, dyslexia, and SEMH.
Working on a 1:1 basis or with small groups, you'll play a key role in helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning while making a genuine difference to their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs.
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and adapt learning activities where needed.
- Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional development through personalised support.
- Build positive relationships that promote confidence, wellbeing, and positive behaviour.
- Support pupils throughout the school day, including breaktimes, educational visits, and enrichment activities.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar SEN support role.
- A patient, caring, and resilient individual with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Experience supporting pupils with autism, SEMH, speech and language needs, dyslexia, or other learning difficulties is desirable.
- A proactive team player with excellent communication skills and a commitment to safeguarding and inclusion.
