NextGen Teachers is recruiting a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to work on a supply basis, predominantly at a welcoming and supportive primary school in the LS15 area of Leeds.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher looking for consistent supply work within one school, while still enjoying the flexibility that supply teaching offers.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring pupils remain motivated and make excellent progress. The successful candidate will be confident managing the classroom, maintaining high expectations, and adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 and KS2
• Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Managing behaviour effectively in line with the school's policies
• Assessing pupil understanding and providing constructive feedback where required
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
• Maintaining high standards of teaching and learning throughout the school day

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has recent experience teaching within UK primary schools
• Is confident teaching across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Is flexible, reliable and able to build positive relationships quickly
• Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one
