Contract: Full-time, Term-Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm

Age Group: 4-11 years

Start Date: September

Salary: £92 - £95 per day (depending on experience)

We're looking for a caring and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school environment where you can make a real difference every day. You'll work closely with the class teacher, supporting pupils through engaging learning activities, targeted interventions and personalised support, including children with SEN. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and effective classroom learning.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to provide targeted support and promote progress.
• Assist in preparing learning resources and monitoring pupils' academic, social, and emotional development.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment while encouraging positive behaviour and independence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support all learners and uphold safeguarding policies and procedures.

What we're looking for:

• Experience working with primary-aged children, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach, with the ability to support learning for individuals and small groups.
• A proactive team player who is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment and helping all pupils achieve their potential.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
