Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant - Redhill

NextGen Teachers are recruiting for a Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Redhill, supporting students aged 11-16 with Autism, learning difficulties, and SEMH needs.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in education, care, or youth work who are looking for a long-term position in a school.

The Role

• Provide 1:1 and small group SEND support
• Support students with Autism (ASC), SEMH, and additional needs
• Assist with learning, behaviour, and emotional regulation
• Help build confidence, independence, and engagement in lessons

Details

• Location: Redhill
• Pay: £90 - £100 per day
• Hours: 08:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
• Contract: Temp to perm (12 weeks)
• Start: Immediate

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience with young people (education, care, or support work)
• Interest in SEND / SEN / SEMH
• Confident working with secondary students
• Calm, reliable, and proactive
