NextGen Teachers are proud to be recruiting for a permanent, full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive neurodiverse school in Leeds, supporting pupils aged 4-16 years. This opportunity is based on a well-established specialist provision with a strong reputation for supporting children with a range of additional needs.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils aged 4-16 with a range of additional needs
  • Work closely with teachers to deliver personalised learning support
  • Provide 1:1 and small group interventions
  • Assist with behaviour support and emotional regulation strategies
  • Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support pupils' social development and independence
  • Contribute to EHCP targets and individual learning plans
