Teaching Assistant - PMLD Specialism - WF7 | Term Time | £19,000-£20,000/year

NextGen Teachers are seeking a compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in WF7, supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This role is ideal for someone committed to providing high levels of care and support while contributing to each child's learning and development.

Role Details:

• Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:35pm

• Term time only

• Salary: £19,000-£20,000 per year

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting pupils with PMLD in classroom, sensory, and life skills activities

• Providing personal care confidently and respectfully

• Assisting with communication, mobility, and sensory programmes

• Helping create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

• Essential: Experience working with children with SEND, PMLD, or in a care setting

• Patient, proactive, and reliable

• Comfortable providing personal care and high levels of support

• Motivated to develop a career in SEND
