NextGen Teachers are delighted to be recruiting for Full-Time SEN Support Assistants to join the dedicated team at one of our partnership SEN schools based in central Bradford. This is a highly regarded specialist setting supporting young people aged 11 - 18 years with a range of Specialist needs including: Autism, ADHD, Moderate / Severe Learning Difficulties, Physical / Medical needs, Downs Syndrome, Complex needs, SEMH and Behavioural needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with complex needs, working alongside experienced teachers and therapists in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Your role will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for students with Assisting with personal care, mobility, and communication needs (training provided).

• Supporting children from the age of 11 - 18 years with a range of specialist and complex SEN.

• Supporting sensory-based and therapeutic learning activities.

• Promoting students' independence, well-being, and engagement.

• Collaborating with teaching and healthcare staff to deliver holistic support.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Compassionate, patient, and motivated to support young people with complex needs.

• Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Confident working with students who may have limited verbal communication or physical disabilities.

• Experienced in a special school or care environment (preferred, but training available).

Essential:

• A genuine passion for supporting students with SEND.

• Willingness to assist with personal care and physical support.
