NextGen Teachers are delighted to be recruiting for Full-Time Teaching Assistants to join the dedicated team at one of our partnership SEN schools based in Leeds (LS9). This is a highly regarded specialist setting supporting young people aged 4 - 18 years who live with Autism, ADHD and who may be non-verbal with complex Speech, language and communication needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with ASC, working alongside experienced teachers and therapists in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Your role will include:

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support for students with Assisting with personal care.

  • Supporting children from the age of 4 - 18 years with Neurodiverse needs (ASC).
  • Supporting sensory-based and therapeutic learning activities.

  • Promoting students' independence, well-being, and engagement.

  • Collaborating with teaching and healthcare staff to deliver holistic support.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Compassionate, patient, and motivated to support young people with complex needs.

  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

  • Confident working with students who may have limited verbal communication or physical disabilities.

  • Experienced in a special school or care environment (preferred, but training available).

Essential:

  • A genuine passion for supporting students with SEND.

  • Willingness to assist with personal care and physical support.
