Location: Banbury
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm
Start Date: September
Salary: £28,000 - £39,520 (depending on experience)

Are you ready to make a lasting difference in a role where every day counts? We're looking for a passionate SEMH Teacher to join a welcoming specialist setting in Banbury, supporting pupils aged 5-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEMH and complex needs.
  • Create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive behaviour.
  • Use effective behaviour management strategies and support individual behaviour plans.
  • Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress, attainment and wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and external professionals to support pupil outcomes.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with pupils to support engagement, development and achievement.

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong academic background.
  • Experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEMH and/or complex needs.
  • Strong behaviour management skills with a calm, consistent and resilient approach.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs.
  • A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners and improving outcomes.
  • Strong teamwork, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and ongoing professional development.
