Location: Leeds
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only - Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Age Group: 11-17 years
Start Date: September
Salary: £92 - £95 per day (depending on experience)
NextGen Teachers are recruiting passionate Secondary SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school. You'll work in small classes of around 10 pupils, supporting students with Autism, ADHD and Down syndrome, making a real difference every day. Key Responsibilities:
- Support learners with a range of complex needs in daily learning
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging, differentiated, inclusive lessons
- Work flexibly across sites to meet changing learner needs
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Follow safeguarding procedures and promote pupil welfare
- Record progress and report concerns to staff and senior leaders

- Experience working with children is essential
- Flexible and adaptable across settings and sites
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
