NextGen Teachers are proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic Primary School based in Central Leeds who are seeking to recruit a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to support Primary children in Year 1 and Year 2 (KS1) for a full-time / permanent contract.

This role is ideal for individuals who have experience working with Primary aged children and who have experience and knowledge of working with children who live with; Autism, ADHD, Speech, Language and Communication needs and Behavioural and Emotional needs.

About the Role

As an Primary SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils in KS1 with Special Educational Needs

• Support children with their sensory and behavioural needs

• Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment

• Work closely with teachers and other staff to ensure pupils EHCP goals are met

• Promote independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience supporting children or young people in a Primary school

• Be patient, resilient, and compassionate

• Be confident supporting pupils with personal care requirements

• Have a genuine passion for SEN and inclusive education

• Be reliable, committed, and looking for a permanent role
