Primary Teacher - ASAP Start
Primary Supply Teacher
Location: Bradford
Contract: Supply (day-to-day with potential for long-term and ongoing placements)
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (term-time only)
Start date: ASAP
Pay: £140 - £200 per day (depending on experience)
NextGen Teachers are delighted to be recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of friendly, inclusive primary schools in Bradford. This is an excellent opportunity for adaptable and committed teachers seeking flexible work, with the potential for long-term placements and extensions for the right candidates.
You'll be supporting schools by delivering high-quality teaching and maintaining continuity of learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Schools are welcoming, well-supported environments that value staff wellbeing and inclusive practice.
About the Role
Deliver engaging, inclusive lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 in line with school planning
Adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs, including pupils with SEN
Provide targeted support through small-group or one-to-one interventions where required
Establish a positive, calm, and purposeful classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff to ensure consistency and high standards
Uphold safeguarding, equality, and inclusion in all aspects of practice
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching in primary settings, with confidence supporting pupils with additional needs (e.g. autism, ADHD, SEMH)
A flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to supply teaching
Strong behaviour management and communication skills
A clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
