Pay: £95-£120 per day (depending on qualifications and experience)
Job Type: Full-time | Term-time only | 8:30AM-3:30PM

NextGen Teachers is currently recruiting for a flexible and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across primary schools in the HX3 area of Halifax. This is a supply-based role, offering the chance to gain valuable classroom experience while maintaining a healthy work-life balance - no planning, no after-school marking, and your evenings free.

This position is ideal for:

• Qualified HLTAs (Level 4 or equivalent)

• Primary education graduates looking to apply their skills in a classroom setting

• Or teachers with QTS, including early career teachers, who are keen to build experience without the full pressures of a permanent class role

• Strong behaviour management and classroom presence

• Someone reliable, flexible, and confident working with different year groups

• A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

The Role:

• Deliver and support learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

• Lead small group interventions or full class sessions (with planning provided)

• Adapt quickly to new classrooms and school settings

• Support the class teacher with learning activities, behaviour routines, and classroom organisation
