Early Years Teaching Assistant - Reception (LS9, Leeds)
Salary: £90-£95 per day (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time | Term-time only | 8:30AM-3:30PM
Start Date: ASAP

NextGen Teachers is currently recruiting for a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in LS9, Leeds. This full-time role is based in a Reception class and is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for early childhood education.

About the Role:

As a key part of the Early Years team, you will:

• Support children aged 4-5 in their first year of school

• Assist with phonics, early numeracy, and learning through play

• Help create a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment

• Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed

• Work closely with the class teacher and wider school staff

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with young children, ideally in an Early Years or Reception setting

• A warm, patient, and encouraging approach

• Good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework

• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

• A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
