Location: Leeds, LS9
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm), term-time only.
Start date: ASAP
Salary: £18,500 - £21,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and EYFS team to create a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment for our youngest learners. Your role will include:
- Supporting the delivery of high-quality, play-based learning experiences.
- Assisting with the planning and preparation of engaging activities that promote curiosity, independence, and social development.
- Providing individual and small-group support to help children progress in line with the Early Years Framework.
- Building positive, nurturing relationships with children to ensure they feel valued and secure.
- Supporting with observation, assessment, and recording of children's progress.
- Helping to maintain a safe, well-organised, and welcoming learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience working with EYFS/reception aged children (school-based or similar settings).
- Knowledge and understanding of a variety of SEN needs.
- Willingness to support with personal care where needed.
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
- Minimum GCSE grade C/4 in English, Maths, and Science.
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent) - desirable but not essential.
