Location: Kirklees, West Yorkshire
Contract: Full-time, Fixed Term (1 Year - Maternity Cover)
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

NextGen Teachers are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Geography to join our partnership school who have a successful Humanities department from September 2026 on a one-year maternity cover contract.

The successful candidate will teach Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity about the world and develop students' understanding of physical and human geography. You will join a supportive team that is dedicated to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified teacher with the ability to teach Geography at KS3 and KS4

• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Geography

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that support all learners

• Be committed to raising achievement and maintaining high expectations

• Work effectively as part of a collaborative department
