SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Bradford, BD16
Contract: Supply Cover with Potential for Long-Term Extensions
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £90-£95 per day (dependent on experience)
About the Role
NextGen Teachers is excited to be recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming and inclusive special school in Bradford.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference every day, working in a nurturing primary school environment where staff work closely as a team to help every child thrive. You'll play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, global developmental delay, and SEMH, helping them to engage, grow in confidence, and achieve their potential.
What You'll Be Doing
Providing 1:1 and small-group support tailored to individual needs
Supporting the delivery of inclusive, engaging lessons
Helping pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Providing personal care where required
Creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging learning environment
What We're Looking For
Essential: Experience supporting children with SEN
A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
Desirable: Level 3 Childcare qualification
