We work with a range of specialist schools, resource provisions, alternative provisions, and mainstream schools with SEND departments, offering rewarding roles supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs including Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and other complex needs.

The Role
Depending on the opportunity, your responsibilities may include:
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND
Delivering pre-planned lessons for supply and short-term cover roles
Creating a safe, structured and nurturing learning environment
Supporting pupils' academic, social, emotional and personal development
Managing behaviour positively using effective and consistent strategies
Assessing and monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
Working collaboratively with support staff, parents, carers and external professionals
Promoting inclusion and helping every pupil achieve their full potential
Following school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times
About You
We are looking for teachers who are:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Experienced working with pupils with SEND in specialist or mainstream settings
Passionate about inclusive education and supporting children and young people with additional needs
Patient, resilient and adaptable in their approach
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to obtain one
