SEN Teaching Assistant | Doncaster | Immediate Start
Location: Doncaster
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time, Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Age Group: 3-11 years
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £100 per day (depending on experience)
NextGen Teachers are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 3-11 in a welcoming and inclusive primary school. The role also includes assisting with the breakfast club, providing a positive start to pupils' day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEN in accessing learning
- Assist with classroom activities and interventions
- Support social and emotional development
- Work closely with staff and SENCO
- Ensure a safe, inclusive environment
- Follow safeguarding procedures
What we're looking for:
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN is essential
- Caring, patient, and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage behaviour positively
- Reliable, proactive, and adaptable
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
