Supply SEN Teaching Assistant - Special School | Bingley

NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming and supportive special school in Bingley.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) who is looking for flexible supply work, with the potential for the role to be extended into a longer-term position.

The Role

• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs.
• Working closely with teachers and the wider school team to provide a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Assisting with personal care where required.
• Encouraging independence, communication, and positive behaviour throughout the school day.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN in a school or care setting.
• A calm, patient, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.
• Team Teach training is highly desirable and would be a distinct advantage.
