This is a fantastic opportunity to support secondary-aged students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex learning needs. The role also includes providing personal care, so we're looking for caring, resilient, and committed individuals who are passionate about making a real difference every day.
Your Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support secondary students with autism and complex needs both in and out of the classroom.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learning needs.
- Assist with personal care while maintaining students' dignity and independence.
- Encourage communication, confidence, and social development.
- Work closely with teachers and the wider school team to provide the best possible support.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable but not essential.
- A patient, compassionate, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to provide personal care.
- A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their full potential.
