SEN Supply Teacher - Leeds & Wakefield

Leeds & Wakefield | Day-to-Day Supply | Flexible Work | September Start

NextGen Teachers are looking for experienced and passionate SEN Teachers across Leeds and Wakefield who are available for day-to-day supply and flexible teaching work from September.

We work closely with a range of SEN schools, specialist provisions and alternative settings across West Yorkshire and are looking to build our supply team for the new academic year.

This is a great opportunity if you're looking for flexibility, variety and the ability to choose when and where you work.

The Role

As an SEN Supply Teacher, you could be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • SEMH and behavioural needs
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs
  • Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties
  • Complex and additional needs

Assignments can range from single-day cover to short-term and longer-term placements, depending on your availability.

What We're Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
  • Previous SEN teaching experience
  • A confident, adaptable and resilient approach
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Availability for supply work across Leeds and/or Wakefield
