Primary Teaching Assistant (Supply)

NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for a reliable and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis at a welcoming primary school in LS26.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a flexible and committed TA who is looking to gain experience across different year groups while supporting pupils in a positive and engaging learning environment.

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
• Assisting with classroom management and pupil behaviour
• Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working within a primary school setting
• A patient, proactive and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Relevant TA qualification desirable but not essential
• The right to work in the UK
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
• Two professional references
