EYFS Teaching Assistant (Supply)

NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for a qualified and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis at a welcoming primary school in BD9. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Early Years team and make a positive impact in a nurturing learning environment. The school is looking for a confident EYFS practitioner who can step in seamlessly and support pupils in their early stages of development.

The Role:

• Supporting children within the Early Years Foundation Stage
• Assisting with the delivery of engaging, play-based learning activities
• Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
• Working 1:1 and with small groups where required
• Contributing to observations and monitoring of pupil progress
• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must hold a recognised EYFS qualification (Level 3 in childcare/ child development)
• Experience working within an EYFS setting
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Caring, patient and proactive approach
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
• Flexible and reliable for supply work
• Has the Right to work in the UK
• Has an enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to complete one)
• Can provide two professional references
