Part-time Primary Teacher

Contract: Part-Time (2 Days Per Week - Mondays & Wednesdays), Term-Time Only
Start Date: September 2026

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming Primary School in WF5 from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking for a part-time role, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

This role is ideal for an experienced teacher who enjoys classroom teaching without the additional responsibility of planning, as all planning will be provided. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality lessons and marking pupils' work to ensure continuity of learning.

The Role

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to Year 2 during Monday and Wednesday mornings
• Provide PPA and release cover across Key Stage 2 during Monday and Wednesday afternoons
• Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Mark pupils' work in line with school policies
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
• Support pupils' academic, social, and personal development

About You

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a Primary School setting
• Confident teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
