About the Role:
NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Primary Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Wakefield, with a particular focus on the WF9 area. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking for flexible work while gaining valuable experience in different school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 (depending on your preference and experience)
• Follow school planning or deliver pre-prepared lessons where required
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Mark work and provide feedback in line with school expectations
• Adapt quickly to new school environments and build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Recent experience teaching in a primary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexible, reliable, and confident in adapting to new environments
• A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children's learning
• The right to work in the UK
• An enhanced DBS on the update service
• The ability to provide 24 months of professional references
