Salary: £27,122 per annum (paid 52 weeks)

Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or Behaviour Support Worker looking to support young people in a Post-16 setting?

Due to expansion, we are recruiting two Post-16 Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist school in Horsham, supporting students in Key Stage 5. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with excellent training, benefits, and long-term progression.

The Role:

As a Post-16 Learning Support Assistant, you will support students in their academic, social, and emotional development, helping them prepare for independence and life beyond education.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support students in lessons through 1:1 and small group work
• Assist with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
• Promote independence, confidence, and social development
• Work closely with staff to support learning and progress
• Follow safeguarding procedures and contribute to training and development

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Experienced as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Support, or similar
• Confident supporting young people with additional needs or behavioural challenges
• Patient, consistent, and nurturing in their approach
• Strong communicators who work well within a team
• Passionate about supporting students' independence and future outcomes
