Location: Horsham, West Sussex (Due to location, Drivers License is essential)
Salary: £27,122 per annum (paid 52 weeks)
Contract: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm

Due to expansion, we are recruiting two Primary Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist school in Horsham, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-supported setting with strong training, benefits, and long-term progression.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils' learning, behaviour, and overall development in a structured and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the class teacher to create a positive and effective learning environment
• Assisting pupils with their progress and attainment across lessons
• Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation in line with school policies
• Assisting with individual education plans (IEPs) and student support plans
• Building positive, consistent relationships with pupils
• Encouraging social interaction, independence, and confidence
• Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Behaviour Support, or similar
• Confident supporting children with additional needs or challenging behaviour
• Patient, consistent, and nurturing in their approach
• Strong team players with good communication skills
• Committed to supporting pupils' progress and wellbeing
