The Role
- Deliver engaging English Language & Literature lessons across KS3-KS5
- Support students to build confidence in reading, writing and communication
- Adapt teaching to meet a range of needs including SEN, SEMH, Autism and ADHD
- Support pupils towards GCSE and post-16 outcomes
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental growth
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3-KS5)
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- A passion for English and the ability to engage and inspire learners
- Interest in SEN / SEMH or alternative provision
Previous SEN experience is welcome but not essential - full training and support will be provided.
