• Pay: £90-£105 per day (dependent on experience
• Hours: Monday to Friday (term time only)

The Role

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN / SEND) on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them access learning and develop key skills.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs
• Supporting learning across the primary curriculum
• Assisting with communication, social skills, and emotional development
• Helping to manage behaviour and promote engagement
• Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to support individual learning plans

The Ideal Candidate

This role is ideal for graduates or individuals with a strong interest in SEN and child development.

You will be:

• A graduate in Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or a related subject
• Interested in SEN, SEND, Autism (ASD), or additional needs
• Patient, proactive, and eager to learn
• A strong communicator with a positive and supportive approach
• Keen to gain experience in schools before progressing into further training or study
