SEN Teaching Assistant - Leeds

• Full-time, Term-time only, Temp to perm
• Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Start: ASAP
• Pay: From £92.60 per day

NextGen Teachers are proud to be supporting a warm and welcoming school in Leeds in their search for a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant. This specialist setting supports learners aged 4-16 with a diverse range of needs, including PMLD, ASC, ADHD, and complex medical and learning needs.

The school offers a truly tailored approach through three distinct pathways: Sensory, Communication, and Independence, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.

What you'll do:

• Support students with complex SEN needs
• Adapt learning and assist with lesson delivery
• Work closely with teachers and support staff
• Support with personal care where needed

What you need:

• Experience with SEN (essential)
• Passion for supporting children
• Strong communication skills
• DBS (or willing to obtain)
• GCSEs in English, Maths & Science

Desirable: Level 3 TA qualification, Team Teach
