English Teacher Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English Language & English Literature lessons (KS3-KS5)
- Prepare students for GCSE and post-16 outcomes
- Differentiate lessons for students with SEN, SEMH, Autism, ADHD
- Support literacy development: reading, writing, speaking, and communication
- Contribute to curriculum planning and department development
Person Specification - English Teacher
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English in a secondary school (KS3-KS5)
- Strong behaviour management and classroom engagement skills
- Passion for English and inclusive teaching practices
- Interest in SEN / SEMH / Alternative Provision
Previous SEN experience is beneficial but not essential - full training and support provided
